INFORMATION

The return of our popular Candy Drive event formally known as Ghouls and Goblins will support the Deerfield Hills Trunk or Treat program this year.  The community has come to rely on our generosity to help promote a safe environment for all the kids who participate in the event.  This years tournament will feature the Men’s division on Saturday, 55 Minute games, 3GG (If Possible) and Sunday will feature Coed, 55 Minutes and also a 3GG (If Possible).

HOMERUNS will be decided by how many bags of candy you or your team can bring.
Per Game Totals – Per Team:

Don’t spend a ton of money on chocolate guys, the program wants volume individually wrapped.  Dollar Store is a great place for this.

6 Bags = 1 HR
12 Bags = 2 HR
18 Bags = 3 HR
24 Bags = 4 HR
30 Bags = 5 HR

Men’s Division could combine this weekend.

Entry Fee is $275 and registration deadline is Wednesday, October 17th, at 4PM. ZERO BALLS will be included with Entry. Contact Ken @ 719-229-6720 or ken.reynolds@socosport.com to register. You may purchase more @ 6 for $25 or $5 a piece. Any WSL Worth Gold Dot or any ASA 44/375 is allowed in play.

Tournament Notes:

We will be utilizing 1-man umpiring and will bring in Mats for strikes.

The arc of the pitch (4-10 from Ground) won’t change. To eliminate the biggest inconsistency based on player feedback during events, this will be the best solution with the shortage of officials we have this time of year.

A pitched ball may hit the plate and the mat now for a strike call for both men’s and coed.  Again, this is just a temporary solution for Fall of 2018.
